Celebrating Two Great Ladies: Two Rivers and Ann Roberts

Two Rivers Mansion, the beautiful 1859 antebellum mansion, sparkled for the Sunday afternoon NHF fundraising event honoring Ann Roberts, a passionate Nashville preservationist with a nearly 50-year track record of success.

Ann co-founded the Nashville Historical Foundation with Ann Eden and Tim Walker, and served as its president for 12 years. She is the 2025 recipient of American Institute of Architects of Tennessee’s Samuel Morgan Lifetime Achievement Award, its highest honor, and received Historic Nashville’s Outstanding Individual Achievement Award in 1991.

Best of all, Ann continues to serve on NHF’s board and remains an active advocate for preservation in Nashville.

This links to a recording of remarks made by current NHF President Jill Farringer Meese, Founder and Friends of Two Rivers President Phil Claiborne, former Mayor Bill Purcell, and Ann Roberts at the event.
