Upcoming Nashville History Club Talks

Every Tuesday, the Nashville History Club hosts free, public talks featuring local authors and historians from 1-2 pm at the Fort Negley Visitors Center, located at 1100 Fort Negley Blvd
Nashville, TN 37203.

In February, two NHF board members will be featured speakers, on topics sure to attract interested audiences.

On February 3rd, join well-known former owner of the retail store Pangaea, and history devotee Sandra Shelton, to learn more about the Satsuma Tea Room and its fascinating women founders.

On February 24th, award-winning author and historian Kem Hinton will discuss his true crime memoir, Nether Land. In addition to a compelling story about the life and shocking murder of his friend Ed Netherland, who tried to develop toxic waste incinerators, then became a nationally recognized insurance expert, the book creates a vivid picture about what it was like to grow up in Tennessee in the last quarter of the twentieth century.
